Living in a North-Dublin suburb, teenager Char shares a dysfunctional home with her sick grandmother and depressed mother, Angela, who suddenly disappears, only to reappear with an entirely altered personality. This new mother wears dresses and cooks dinner, but as her behaviour grows increasingly erratic, Char must get to the bottom of this mystery and unearth the dark secrets that follow her family.
