Ten-year-old Tom finds it difficult to cope with change, he likes things to remain the same, and he avoids the colour red. His biggest dream is to go on a mission to Mars. When he has to move in with his grandparents, his mother worries he won’t cope, so his mother suggests he use the stay as a trial run for his future missions to Mars. A sensitive, beautifully acted story about a young boy who sees the world a bit differently.
